modern modular homes

built smarter, faster and stronger in an environmentally controlled factory setting

Our flagship facility in Greenwood SC, is targeted towards regional builders and developers to produce private-label residential homes for the Southeast region.

Located at 161 Rock Church Rd SE, Impresa’s 240,000-square-foot production facility will increase the company’s operating capacity to meet growing demand.  The new facility became operational in 2022 and will be fully tooled and fitted for full production by the first quarter of 2023. Full production capacity is estimated to be in excess of 500 homes per year.

Why modular?

BUILT SMARTER

SUSTAINABLE & EFFICIENT PROCESSES

The home construction process in our factory is carefully engineered to create a sequence of steps that is repeated precisely on every module. Our assembly line method decreases the variability that occurs on a site-built project and increases the speed and efficiency of the build.

We have also adopted lean manufacturing principles as a way to eliminate waste and improve efficiencies. Our lean approach employs greater flexibility and reuse within the factory by utilizing or recycling all building materials and leaving virtually zero waste.

BUILT FASTER

ACCELERATE PRODUCTIVITY & DELIVERY

Modular construction can reduce timelines by 30-50 percent or more. This means shortening construction loans and thus reducing the financing costs of the project for home-buyers.

Labor productivity with modular has shown an increase of 30% on off-site projects when compared with on-site projects. Ultimately, risk is reduced with off-site construction.

BUILT STRONGER

UNMATCHED QUALITY & PRECISION

Our homes are built on a foundation of quality and strength that is designed to last a lifetime. Every home is subjected to a series of internal inspections and checkpoints that test electrical components, plumbing lines, interior design details and much more.

Our modular homes are built to state and local building codes and typically exceed these requirements. This includes specific construction and design elements designed to meet the wind and thermal zone needs of the delivery area.

Work For Us

Our plant will incorporate many of the design advantages of existing
industry concepts, together with leading edge software for design,
process control and inventory management. As always, workforce is key and we are driving to assemble top talent in all disciplines.

Planning to full capacity, we will employ more than
100 full-time staff and produce an average of more than 20 complete
modules per week.
